After two years of maintenance and repairs the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is ready to deliver collisions to its seven experiments ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, LHCf, MoEDAL and TOTEM at 13 TeV – almost double the energy of its previous physics programme. This new energy frontier will allow researchers to probe new boundaries in our understanding of the fundamental structure of the universe.
